No trackers, I will try to provide an update as progress messages come through.

Ryan is bravely going solo until wasdale without the 'required' fast pacers nor expert knowledge of the lines. Lets hope at the very least Ryan's commitment, tenacity and the weather hold out to set a benchmark on how close one can get to Billy's time on ones own fitness mountain skill and determination alone.

2hr20 leg 1 but deliberately didnt 'race Skiddaw'.

    Good luck to all RMR.

Jon DUNcan (ex GBR orienteer and World Champion) also going today on a 15h schedule. Don't know whereabouts he is/what time he's at though. Strong, but wonder how many hills he's managed to get in in Norway!

jon duncan has a tracker, number 24, he was on a record schedule thereabouts till dunmail then seems to have slowed down to a more sensible pace! http://live.opentracking.co.uk/bg2017/

Yeah, 17 minutes slower than Billy's time to Wasdale. A much more sensible pace...

Anymore news on either of these efforts? Great to start seeing fast guys out on the route!! Has Killian flushed them out?
