Having seen Froome this year he looks like he's carefully trying to peak for the Tour and yesterdays TT was hard to gauge as he may have taken more risks, but the bare result looks positive for him.
The Sky teak is probably the strongest team I have seen at a Grand Tour. So many strong climbers and with Movistar losing Valverde yesterday, Quintana will lose options.

Froome to win. Fuglsang to be on the podium.

I'd kick Sagan out for this. World Champion of not, this was a despicable elbow.

Yes, I thought Cav came across with a very measured reply and gentlemanly attitude when questioned about the incident.

Did Sagan think that Cavendish would be a bit further forward, so that they would be level and bounce off each other? In other words he was expecting his elbow to be met with and resisted by Cav's elbow. If so he misjudged it badly, but it would mean his intent was less malign. These things happen so quickly it amazes me anybody in a pack sprint gets to the finish unscathed.
