Anyone who cross-trains on the bike or is injured for running but can ride ok will 'enjoy' the Goose Eye Grimpeur Sportive on Sunday 20th August - 200km and 3600m of climb over a very lumpy but beautiful course over the south Pennines, Pendle and Bowland fells. It's relentless number of punchy climbs make it as tough a day as routes like the Fred Whitton, some say harder - an ideal challenge for fell runners!
