    Championship races 2018

Does anyone know which races are included for next year yet?

I am fairly certain of 5/6 of the English.

I've not yet been contacted about Shutlingsloe. They must be keeping it as an option for 2019.

Spill the beans then. The suspense isn't killing me, but I've got climbing holidays to fit in around the first couple of races!

11th March, but not the Edale Skyline as we know it I've heard, but don't know full details yet.
    Also heard Turner Landscape.
Buttermere Skyline was sort of known last year. SO that'll be all the fast beggars at Edale then so they can avoid this.
I believe Keswick are doing something short from Threlkeld? And a Cautley race for the other short.

So that just leaves a medium race in Yorkshire/Lancashire?

Intercounties at Lad's Leap 19th May.

Edale Skyline was ran on a slightly different route this year, with variations in the Win Hill and Brown Knoll area. I was of the impression that these were access/conservation issues and will be the permanent 'new' route.

Buttermere will be amazing as a champs race and I've been looking forward to this for a while. It will finish off a few people (it just about ruined me in 2015). Very fast initial section to the Newlands Hause crossing, where you will rapidly begin to feel sorry for yourself if you've gone out too hard.

Would love to see Peris or Welsh 1000 as a British Champs race.

Come to Northumberland for a change. Kielder Blast in 2012 was the last time, I believe.

The Buttermere Horseshoe (Darren Holloway Memorial race) would certainly be an exciting inclusion. Parts of the route are off the beaten track where no other fell races go nor are they on obvious walking areas.
