The statements that sky just want to win as a team and that CF will support G are complete tosh.
CF wants that win badly in order to join the elite few who have won 5 tours. I don't think he will stop at anything to achieve it if at all possible.
Also interested in predictions for tomorrows experimental stage.
Will it...
A. spark a full on battle from the outset and lead to some major time gaps early on or....
B. be a damp squib of a start with nothing really happening until the Col de Portet anyway.

Well I would be delighted if Tom D won it - or anyone else who does not ride for Sky, to give heart to teams who do not have the unlimited £zillions that Mr Murdoch can provide.
Sky do not have the best individual riders but they have the strongest team by far; as did that man from Austin, Texas whose team could buy in Grand Tour winners to act as mere domestiques. Harrumph!
