I was wondering about this the other day. Remember those heady days of two or three leagues?

Funnily enough I was wondering about starting it up again. It was a lot of work - mainly in trying to value all the runners, especially those about to break through - but it was great fun.

Hope you do resurrect it Bill. It was brilliant.

Surely you you can get some knowledgable people to help you do the valuing who will then promise not to enter!

i would suggest Daleside but she will want to play and win. 😉

Having only joined the Forum three years ago, I have no idea what the old Fantasy Fellrunning thread was, but I certainly do fantasise about the great fell running performances that I am going to produce.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

I'd have won it one year if Jebby hadn't have dislocated his shoulder. Blooming bicycles

I think I did win it once..I had a young lad called Rhys(not sure what happened to him ) for one pint and :Lloyd in my team
and yes L.F.F it was great Fun

Anthony, imaging you had 15 pints and you had to buy a team of 4 runners valued in pints, it had to have at least one woman and one vet in the team, transfers were allowed mid season..the tension as the results came out.
The other great night was the Forumite of the year awards...

FOTY - compered by the unforgettable Danbert. He was part way through the inaugural awards and had to go and get his tea
