    Walking tours Scotland

Hi an American colleague of mine has asked me the following and I thought you guys () would be better placed to answer than myself:

"August-2019, we are planning to take a two week Holiday, mostly in Scotland but also northern England, Lakes District likely.
We are looking at 7 to 10 day walking tours in Scotland.
The tour company sets up our itinerary, books the lodging and carries our luggage from place to place.
We carry day-packs and hike/walk from destination to destination.
We’ve just begun exploring our options and tour companies.
    Any recommendations?
We would like wild country and get some elevation on our walks.
We did a similar trip in Switzerland and enjoyed the mountain hiking.
We’re not particularly drawn to the sea coast so we aren’t focused on those destinations."
