Be Humble. Sit Down.
I remember back in the day someone asking if they could buy themselves for the wringings from a damp bar-mat.
I think I may have to select myself just for novelty. I'll only be worth 2 pints if I do a few Lakeland classics and perform well in the long champs races.
I reckon there's quite a bit of value in the list and some well-placed transfers could maximise this. A few overpriced though

Great news Bill.
Although while we are on the subject I always thought that you shouldn’t let people submit teams once the champs have started.
Surely part of the game is the risk of who is going to do the champs. It’s too easy to wait and see who runs on the first race. Anyone who does that has an unfair advantage.
Saying that I won’t have a clue. I did well previously with a joint team with DS but she had inside advice. 😉
I will choose baba of course for forum solidarity.

Its a good point Milli, though these days checking who has pre-entered the races is a pretty good gauge of who's serious about the champs.
And if you do enter a team after the first race you have a double penalty of not scoring for the first race, and losing one of your substitutions. So for me I don't think there's an advantage to be had.
I used to find it quite entertaining the gamesmanship with last minute teams. Bad Magners was the worst!

I’m studying the form. Is Wendy still on the list? Always good for a spare pint
Am I allowed to change one of my runners if I do it now?
Ok here we go with the team of 'Mappers Marvels':
Vicki Wilkinson = 7
Nicky Spinks = 4
Debbie Gowans = 1
Mark Addison = 1
