    Yorkshireman 9th Sept 10 a.m.

Yep I fully agree with that!

Can I start it off and ask if anyone is able to give me a lift to the Yorkshireman Marathon on Sept 9th from Leeds?

    Re: Lift sharing to races

Great idea, it came to my mind noticing all of the cars (mine included) at a recent fell race. If anyone wants a lift from North East to the Yorkshireman, offer is there.

well it's too far for my bike and i am offering lifts
it's either that or the even higher carbon footprint (contrary to popular belief) that the mini gives off!

18 year old mini long since repaid it manufacturing debt to the environment, smaller stell body panels (all still availiable) far less plastic and electonic pcbs than the modern day marvels, i could go on but i do not feel the need to justify my choice of transport to anybody unlike some

I assumed you refer to the classic mini as there is no other

no I was referring to my super duper new mini!!!
i had a classic nearly killed myself in it - no not through reckless driving don't get me wrong I LOVE the classic minis but after a near fatal experience I'm happy with the sparkly new one!

i wasn't having a dig I was merely pointing out that owning both a 7 seater diesel and a new mini it's the new mini that is causing more of a scurge on the planet not the 'bus'.
