    Today's famous sighting

Richard Hawley walking his dogs whilst I was on my morning run. He lives just across the valley in Greystones so was wondering when I might bump into him.

Also Hazel Irvine and Steve Davies, but snooker types pretty much a given if you wander to the Winter Gardens at this time of year

What dogs does he have? I’m guessing whippets and not just because of the flat cap Tyke stereotype

Eric Clapton was telling me recently (we often chat about rock music using social media) that he knew a very famous fell runner. Some tousle haired rocker from the edge of the dales. Can’t remember who it was though

Wow DT! Such people are like - surreal.

When I used to listen to Paul Jones do his blues radio problem I would wonder if he remembered the advice I gave him, way back when, on how he should sing Smokestack Lightnin', as he signed my copy of The Five Faces of Manfred Mann - and if he still includes a CND symbol in his autograph.

But as for your being a confidante of EC. So cool!

Hawley has a springer and a collie, so maybe there's a latent fell runner in him somewhere!

Probably some lesser celebrity who's revered by them there Yorkies.

I can top it though; Joss presenting the prizes at AW / TWA, last Saturday afternoon.
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!
