you can play 'name that part of the Peak District' from one of his videos.
Although it did make me realise how far drone technology has come in 2 years!

Yes, lovely video of the Peak District, and happy people enjoying the countryside. Not sure what the musical accompaniment was for, though.

I'm not one to drop names but Hilary Mantel the Booker prize winner and author of Wolf Hall is my wife's step sister's ex sister in law. I've seen her at a family wedding but not on the fells.

I've met that sweary chef bloke Gordon watsisname at Comrades 2004, Dean Karnazes at Western States 2006 and Sage Canaday at Tarawera 2013, and ba-ba. They all beat me, even sweary, and he wasn't so slim back then.

This thread reminds me of an incident in around 2005, when I failed to spot a Famous Person.

It was a Sunday morning, and I was cycling to church with my son, who would have been about 7 then. Keeping my eyes on the road, I was only vaguely aware of the tall, blonde woman running past in the opposite direction. My son piped up: "That was the Olympic runner". Somehow, I don't think that would be Paula Radcliffe's preferred description of herself, given her record in the Olympics.
