    I guess a lot of it stems from this race being a spin off from the TdeF and that it's now run by the same organisation, but a lot of cycling parlance is just French anyway - peleton, musette etc, etc.

    On a serious note: I worrly about the anti ineos fracking protestors.
    Wonder if they will put a dampener on it or actually disrupt it..

    Where abouts were you Stagger? I was in North Leeds just after Shadwell today. They passed us around 4ish. It was a great atmosphere despite the cold. Planning on biking to the Dales on Sunday and seeing them at Kettlewell just before they do Park Rash.
