I completed this earlier in the month. It's coast to coast, station to station, sea to summits traverse of the western lakes taking in 10 Marilyns and a fair amount of trackless terrain - nearly 47 miles and 17,000 feet so on a par with the Joss Naylor challenge. Along with the JNC and the Cumbrian Traverse it makes a challenging trio of runs!! The start at St Bees and finish at Silecroft are linked by rail so no transport problems if strong runners want to do it unsupported. Full details here:
