    Mobberley 5 Mile Multi-Terrain

    Mobberley 5 Mile Multi-Terrain Race
    Thursday 6th September 7pm Start
    Start and Registration at The Railway Inn
    (next to Mobberley Station)
    1 lap course of approximately 5 miles on scenic roads, paths and bridleways
    near to Manchester Airport 2nd Runway including the spectacular River Bollin Tunnel

    There's an entry form on the Wilmslow Running Club website.

    Quite fancy this one, if it's a nice evening...

    Bob said he was injured, so won't be running, but I think he'll be knocking about marshalling or whatnot...

    looks glorious out there - should be good...

    I made a trip down the M6 to do this one tonight. Finished in about 38.30. Oxo won it. How did you get on Daz?

    All the times i have flown from Manchester Airport and never knew there was a tunnel under the runway

    If I can find it I might ressurect the 'when will I next win a race' thread / poll I started nearly a year ago when the injury first plagued me. I optimistically voted 3-6 months. Over a year later and i'm still not pain free but its much better and more importantly not getting any worse... and i'm enjoying racing again! Good to see everyone tonight

    What a splendid evening!
    I was supposed to be taking it steadily, but clocked 43:30, which for the 5.3M that I worked it out as, is almost exactly equivalent to my 5M PB!

    This all bodes well for my sub-2hr Half-Mara attempt on Sunday...
