Did anyone see the incredible running performance of the German triathlete (Unger) at Hamburg yesterday?
I've never seen anything like it - he looked dead and buried with a mile to go but with the partisan crowd chering him on, came back and beat the World Number 1 - astounding!
Must be the only time I've cheered on a German

was very impressive, he was 5m behind and buried when he just put it in, I don't think he was even thought of as a potential winner.
2nd time i've cheered a german on, Bernard Langer in the ryder cup!

Australian Emma Snowsil who came 2nd after an absolute STORMING run - she got to transition from being in the 2nd pack and was way behind.
Shame the german tv coverage was so biased though you didn't even get to see her crossing the finish line
But then I guess this is why she Australia's 3 time world champ!

For those of you who know Pete Norman from Wrexham, he won his age group category (70-74) in the Sprint Championship by nearly 8 mins and is now a world Champion!
