Luv Shack, What's the parking info for this? I've read one place that said follow signs for parking, and something else that said park somewhere else and get a bus?

We always park at the event. Never yet been a problem.

It's always well organised - just go where the army cadets tell you to .

I heard a rumour there will be jousting! If they don't let me do that i'll have an atempt at the fell race.

Looking forward to this race, should be a few of us from Helsby over for this one. As for the records not sure I'd even have achance of that time on the flat. All credit to whoever is chasing that time.

    Dom,

As indicated by others, there is ample parking on site at the Show/Event (parking is free this year), there is also Park & Ride from Hayfield Bus Station (and Glossop, from Henry Street, on Sunday only).

Entry to the race/races is "free", which means you have to pay entry to the Country Show & Sheepdog Trials (Adults £5.50, Unders 16's £2.00, Under 5's free, Concessions £2.00 - and there is also a Special Family ticket, Sat only until 12noon, 2 Adults & 3 Kids £12.50).

Entrance to the Show/Event (Spray House Farm) is from the main Glossop to Hayfield road (A624), approx 1/2 mile before you reach Little Hayfield

    See you there!

No real boggy bits, especially as the weather has been dry here - it's road up and down and nothing else that really warants fell shoes just a few slippy rocks on the first descent if it is wet.
