You've still not fogiven me for getting you lost on Fairfield 2006 have you?
If it makes you feel any better, on Rydal Round this year Domonic Raby of Chorley was with me on the same climb up, is it Hart Crag, and said "short cut this way." Remembering the previous years balls-up I went over the top... look at the Rydal round results and see where he ended up!
Why walk when you can run.
Cheers for bringing up my slight navigational error on rydal round which pretty much saw me doing a complete u turn and heading up fairfield for a second time. well done for langdale by the way.
Aaaaargh!!!
Due to my wife working every other weekend I'd sussed that I could run 7/10 races & I was well chuffed .
Now she tells me I can manage 3/10 due to her work & I may lose one of them due to holidays .
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
The latest information I have been given for the 2008 British and English Championships is as follows:
BRITISH
Short: Blackstone Edge (Sat. 28th June), Dufton (Sat. 30th Aug.)
Medium: Moel Elio (Sat. 17th May), Durisdeer (Sat. 14th June)
Long: Spelga Skyline (Sat. 5th April), Borrowdale (Sat. 2nd Aug.)
ENGLISH
Short: Blackstone Edge (Sat. 28th June), Dufton (Sat. 30th Aug.)
Medium: Black Combe (Sat. 8th March), Kentmere (Sun. 20th July)
Long: Three Peaks (Sat. 26th April), Borrowdale (Sat. 2nd Aug.)
Dufton has replaced the Short British Championship race which was previously expected to be in Scotland. It is also possible that the Long race in Northern Ireland on 5th April may not be Spelga - but it will be in N.I. and on 5th April.
