    My God, that's massive. Respect!

I spent last night in a very flappy tent atop Crossfell having run/hiked along the Pennine way, and then off to Hartside, in the rain, for a lift back this afternoon. So the back is a bit fragile from sleeping on rocks .

EMOM press-ups routine. 10 reps (floor to lock to floor) press-ups, every minute, for 10 minutes.

Secs remaining for each of the 10X 1 min sets.

    45 - 45 - 45 - 44 - 45 - 43 - 43 - 40 - 39 - 39. = a measly 100. Note to self 'must do (much, much) better'.

    Easy-ish pull session today.

    4 x 15 pulldowns @ 35kg
    2 x 15 wide-grip pulldowns @ 30kg
    3 x 15 landmine rows @ 35kg

That sound quite challenging to me Travs. Well done.

I've given the chin-up bar, and my elbows, a rest and returned to the arm curls. Not as effective, and not as stable, but they have their place.

Dumbbell bicep curls. 2 X 12.5 kg. Simultaneous lifting with both arms.Eccentric lowering. 2 mins break between sets, during which I did (x10) reps of floor to lock to floor press-ups. Curl Reps were to failure, per set.

    28 (10) - 20 (10) - 15 (10) - 11 (10) - 12 (10) - 13 (10) - 12 (10)

Good one Mr B. My times always fade towards the end on EMOM 10x10.

Today's effort. Throwing caution and elbow issues to the wind, circumstances meant I'd try some more pull-ups and chin-up alternating combinations.

    EMOM X 30.

Pull-ups/Chin-ups alternating all the way through to the end.

However, there was one dud pull-up in the middle where I could only manage 3/4 so scored 0. And the final one I had the luxury of allowing a considerable portion of the final min. to elapse before completing it (I knew I only had one chance to attempt it so it had to count!).

Looking at the chin-up numbers, they're a marked improvement on previous versions of this exercise. But, then it dawned on me that when you're alternatively knocking out 1 pull-up in a set, you've got more recovery time in that minute so it then flatters the next set of chin-up reps.

    Anyway: the total was:

    15 pull-ups (1x2, 1x0 (3/4) and 13x1)
    15 chin-ups (5x5, 7x4 and 3x3)

Chin-ups/pull-ups, all singles, EMWM for 60 minutes. I think I did 15 pull-ups and the rest were chin-ups, but I got "lost" in the first 7 - why are these so easy? - because they were chin-ups, not the planned pull-ups.
