Put a real gap between herself and some decent runners.
.... and she was first lady, 7th overall at todays Tigger Tor Fell Race running for Dark Peak. She is a delight to watch as she moves so effortlessly.

Missed the final league fixture today, but we managed to consolidate 7th in the League. And due to some teams turning up very weak today, my B team managed to shoot up to 2nd place overall.

As usual it looks like a weaker field for the final fixture, i guess coming the week after BUCS and some teams/runners with nothing to play for.

Bit of a shame i missed out as it looks like a best ever placing was there for the taking!!

Not for me either as I missed the entry deadline. (not on club FB where they put such info).

I'm not too bothered as I'm still under the weather but hopefully will be at Pipe Dream on 4th March.

Pipe Dream always seems to me to be the worst possible route for a fell race. Run through a beautiful forested hillside just where it has been desecrated by a dirty great pipe. Whatever next? A race along the A55 from Conwy to Penmaenmawr?
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

I did Conwy Mountain race a couple of years ago when it was a Welsh champs race... and you dive straight off the top ridge and down to a stile on the A55, then basically turn round and go back up again.

It remains the hairiest descent i've ever done (although the race being on during the havoc of that Storm Ciara didn't help things).... i remember pulling up at registration and the wind was so strong i couldn't push the car door open.

I see that you have given the Welsh XC wasps nest a poke AK .

Be careful or you might be refused entry at the border on your next visit!
