Halloween Owl Event Run/Bike

The nights are drawing in and its nearly time for the Owl events. The first one is to be held on Ingleborough. Once again its all for fun and hopefully everbody will enjoy themselves as much as last winter.

Hmmm, bit controversial seeing as the Three Peaks cx has been cancelled...

Not sure why its any more controversial than any other fell race or off road event!

Well, it goes over part of the same area as an event that has been cancelled.

I would assume the reason the organisers of the 3 peaks cyclo cross decided to cancel was it is a huge event attracted many hundreds of people from all parts off the country and is run over quite a large area.
The 3 peaks are still open for all to enjoy and if that changes then our event will also be cancelled. As it is we normally attract around 30 or so people all from a fairly local area so probably less than a coach full of walkers.
Lets hope things dont get worse and we can all continue to enjoy fellrunning/racing.

The only thing controversial is the fact that it's run in the dark and attracts only the brave! Get yerself along Fishy..you'll enjoy it and be most welcome!

Quite right Grifter! Last news I heard had nothing about any fells being closed or F&M within 200miles of Ingleborough. Let's not get the difficulties some folk down South are having out of proportion.
