    Anyone going to do the Malvern Midsummer Marathon next Saturday? Organised by Bristol and West LDWA.

    Not going to bother now, I'm heading up to the lakes to start training for Borrowdale. Looks like i have no choice in that matter now.

    is it a 9.30 start for runners and walkers cant seem to find out

    Walkers between 0930 and 1000
    Runners between 1130 and 1200
    You're asked to register at least an hour before your start

    Regarding Peakers Stroll - I noticed that there was no time given for the runners' start on the entry form so I rang the organiser last night. He was out but I spoke to his wife who said that they are not having any runners this year. Walkers only - 9:30 start. She said that this was down to 'insurance problems'.

    No problem - I've emailed the organiser to express my disappointment and encourage him to have a rethink for next year.
    Maybe if one or two others did the same ... he is Alan Brignell ([email protected])
