    Hip Injury

    I have upped my mileage considerably over the last couple of months and On Sunday finished an 8 mile run with a real bad pain on the side of the hip, which makes it uncomfortable to run and walk with. I think I had something like this years back playing football.

    Felt ok till I went for a run tonight only did a mile and had to come back as it felt very sore. Got the mountain bike out and did 10 mile and felt ok but feeling it again tonight.

    Anyone got any remedies for this other than ice and rest?
