Sorry, I'm probably bailing out this year. I *might* come up Friday for a beer or two in the Dog and Gun and a run / bike round on Saturday, but I'm working Friday and elsewhere Sunday so definitely can't stay Saturday night, and not sure I fancy Friday evening on the M6!.

    I can't walk, let alone run! :-o

It seems to look like we are a bit thin on the ground for the Saturday evening? I heard some rhumours about puppies stopping play?

Mr Hanneke is moving house the weekend before, if all goes to plan, so allthough he would like to come along, he may have to bail out...

Do we have to book the Skiddaw party, or could we decide nearer the time, i.e. on the day/dat before?

I am going to have to look for a bike route then... I am trying to remember what route St John in the Vale was... Dom, if Mr Hanneke can't make it, do you fancy driving up together on Friday eve after work? Should be quiet on the road by then...

Ah, St John in the Vale, I was walking backwards that year, because of my knee not wanting to bend... I have the same problem now That was when I had to dig out my car, wasn't it? Low turnout because of snow stopping play?

I will have a look for a cycle route that can meet halfway with the runners for some minceing pies?

Better map... slight adaptation can be made, as would start Threlkeld/finish Threlkeld or even Keswick, adding an out and back along the disused railway line. I do wonder how accessible the rest of the disused railway line is, as that would make a much better loop. I doubt it is, or I would have found it as a route.

H, i've rolled my ankle so i won't be doing any fell running for a few months, i'll do that bike ride with you as long as i don't get a sudden knee problem. Amex, are you and martin booked in for The Skiddaw? H says it's full. If we aren't able to book in why don't we just see where we end up? Maybe there's one of those kerdiddle things going on somewhere, we can have a competition to see who can go like a fiddler's elbow?

Looking to come Friday night and do the run on Saturday. Need to head home Saturday afternoon though.

Mind you, the shape I'm in, running might be stretching things a bit far. More like a waddle!!
