Tempestuous weather conditions seem to be the order of the day every time i run this one, bob on to the marshals for going up. Reading the notices in the hall i was surprised at how many volunteers it takes to put this race on, thankyou to all of you. The descents on this one are so much fun if you're committed enough, i wouldn't race this in anything but a Mudclaw. Nice pint of Dent Brewery Golden Fleece in the Blacksmith's Arms afterwards where i left my bumbag by mistake, thanks to the Lancastrians who took care of it for me until i realised after the presentation.

Noel, first MV40...look at him go!
Second MV40; and third counting my teammate V50 who also beat me. I was very pleased tho, thanks Mr B.

    Great race as always.

First visit to this race. An absolute cracker! Great race, great pies, great ale and a great craic with my fellow Pennine mates. Do days get any better?

V50 - great run by Rick H. who's still struggling with a bad back!

My mistake, just seen the results, a steady 7mins slower than last time for me. BTW it was me who yelled at you in the hall afterwards...if you heard, that is!

Looking forward to a run round again this year. Has everyone seen the new parking arrangements? Separate thread, maybe worth a merge Brett??

Might have a run at this race, last time I did it was …'94?
Are you going up for the day Luke? Happy to car share if you're amenable.

Parking might not be an issue this year as the race clashes with the Tour of Pendle where there are already 500 registered along with a waiting list for any cancellations.

I'm normally at Dunnerdale, but the TOP is my local race.

Let's hope there's no clash next year (I can't see Dunnerdale listed on the FRA pages for 2016 yet).
