How about Turner Hall Farm - just up the road from the Newfield Inn.

a bit of trouble driving to the start this morning and i may have treated luvshack to his first how to rally a ford transit in reverse to get over the fell road.

Great course, sociable atmosphere, wonderful weather and a tasty pie.. what more could one ask for in a fell race. Not surprised it's such a popular race. Thanks to the organisers, marshalls and everyone else who helped out.

Think I took a poor line off checkpoint 3 (Stickle Pike). I doubled back as it shows on the route map but I'm sure there must have been a quicker way down. Must reccie before next years race.

Results are up on the Blackcoombe website. What happened to Jackie Lee? Did she walk round?

No she didn't. She was actually just over-excited about her & Lloyd being the latest new Pennine members. (That was the price they had to pay to get an invite to our Bonfire party on Saturday evening!)
