And guess what.... it's the 25th Anniversary of this absolute Kracker!!!

Hope to see lot's of you there in the morn'

I might even try and have a bimble round too
Thanks for keeping an eye on my mate Kev - his first race of any sort ever, and he gets to spend it with you topless in a hurricane - took him a while to make sense of it all afterwards but I think he's hooked!

Cheers Pete - truly was another Kracking Grouse...
Probably the windiest ever, rather fitting for the 25th running of this very special "low key" race...
I think those at the opposite end of the sharp-end were all making sure we'd all get back for a pint & a mega chip butty too!!!!

Blimey....what next in the Hayfield Series.....Santa Dash on Sunday & Lambs Longer Leg 2016...not the far off......

Plus... Oh' Flippen Eck the Kinder Trial 2016....must get that sorted too.....more info as ever thanks to SteveT...

barnyc, good to see you cheering from the side lines on child-minding duty.

Well done to BuxtonPete's friend Kev. I spoke beforehand and was impressed that he should choose this for a first ever race. It would make a profound impression at the best of times, but getting to run it with Luv Shack while trying to remain upright in the teeth of the gale must have been indescribable in a traumatic yet euphoric way. I warned him he'd be hooked. There's no going back now.

Thanks to Luv Shack and Steve T for getting the results out so quickly.

I took a few photos as usual. They can be found here.

Yes, CL has obviously been putting some training in, in-between putting the world to rights on here. Nice one, CL.

Thanks. What a good little XC course that is. A real gem. Plenty of slush, mud and rain to bring out one's sadistic side. Good atmosphere in the pub after.

How did your run go Noel? Nearly getting caught by Lauren there in the last 50 yards. You just heard her in time.

Yes, I'd been dropped by the pack ahead of me, so hearing Lauren's fast feet rapidly approaching was probably just what I needed.

She's going well - good to see.
