Daz H 'if you can't move your hands you're in a dodgy position on the fells'...not as dodgy as when you can't move your legs ;-)

I don't know Dog Breath but he is right, just have a quick scan of the 'Inov8 - too much choice' thread. We are all happy to get worked up over really expensive things like shoes that only last a season so surely spending less than half that amount on a pair of gloves that will probably last at least 5 years (assuming Mum fits the elastic) is a no brainer. Go get those Sealskins, and whilst at it tell everybody who admires them just how bloo*y barbaric seal culling really is.

Nobody has ever admired my gloves. Have they yours?
Are Sealskins made out of real seal?

got some seaslskins, only problem is unless its REALLY cold my hands get too hot in them. also if you end up carrying them in a bum bag they're heavier and take up more room so the only time I wear them is if its snowing/hailing or raining heavily from the start . I've also got a pair of lightweight gloves that have windstopper material on the back and I use them all the time.

OK, maybe you are right, Sealskins are a tad warm but they definitely keep you warm and dry and I really only used that example to try and start folk getting upset about the far more important issue of hacking baby animals to death in an obscene race to see who can kill the most in the shortest time and 'earn' the most money.
