    Spelga Skyline - a definate?

Last I heard (I think 'FRA fixtures' said so on here) there was definately going to be a British Champs race in Northern Ireland that April weekend, but it wasn't definately Spelga, has Spelga been confirmed as the race yet?

Have heard it may be a one-off composite race based on spelga, mainly due to footpath erosion. Should be confirmed early december (after 5th i think)

The route is to be decided at Committee next Monday night.

There is no problem with erosion at Spelga.

Some on the Committee want the Annalong Horsehoe route to be used. However, there are major issues/concerns over erosion at Annalong and big numbers over the Annalong course could do a lot of damage and result in the race being stopped in future years. Also, problems with parking and mile of road at the end would need changed.

I believe there has been a 3rd route suggested (as Iain R said) and it may be resolved by voting at next weeks committee meeting.

... and no problem with footpaths either - I certainly don't remember any!!

One or two of the runners were looking a bit eroded afterwards, though.
