Why should prisoners not have the vote? I'm just glad I've never ended up there - it's been close when I was a stupid youth.

Can we not keep this thread positive? Wales is a wonderful country, with some of the best scenery and mountains in our Isles.

Totally agree. I just hope we'll be able to see a bit of Aran Fawddwy on Saturday!

So Matt, I was in Friars 6th form 76/77. Wanted to do Marine Biology but Prof. Fogg put me off....said most of the graduates ended up as dustmen! Did get a trip out on Prince Madog though!
I lived on the Treborth Road. The Antelope was my local.

Yes, I never got a job in Marine Biology! You were luckier than me - I never got out on the Prince Madog. I lived in Neadd Reichel for 2 years and then in the house on College Rd with the mural on the front. Later worked at the University Research station in Penrhosgarnedd. Still have lots of friends in N Wales and go back regularly, but spend more time in Mid Wales where we have a cottage.

MattPo, I wonder if you or Wheeze whilst at Bangor, crossed paths with Dr Tony Jones,a lecturer in Marine Geology and a founder member of Ogwen Valley MRT.

A very good and interesting man, but sadly no longer with us.

I might have Llani, as I did get involved with MRT on a couple of occasions. But Tony Jones is a very common combo! can think of several right now!
