    Superb race - wish my Walsh's were a little fresher for those manic descents...............deffo stick more of the Shropshire races down on the "must do" list for next year.

    Pedwar - great name for the dog, by chance your other dog wasnt called Tri or Pump was it?...........great run though!

    Jackie was leading for most of the race in fact, i was lucky to hold onto the slight lead i got. I am glad i went because when the alarm went off Sunday morning i was knackered and nearly went back to sleep.

    Does anyone know if the results/photos are up anywhere?
    In fact, out of interest and as being a welsh speaker - why have you called him Pedwar, is it Welsh or is it something else??

    Apparently things were a bit windy last year as well;

    Did anyone run 2006 & 2007? How did the conditions compare?
    I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.

    Hmmh - not sure what Cnych means, and Ffwrch I suppose could be used but sounds a bit tame to me, I've recently started to use "ymgytun", very useful!

    Re: Cardington Cracker

    I agree re:marshals. The organisation is excellent all round.

    Re:Pedwar, he was named because he was an add on to my 3 dog limit. The fact it's Welsh is for no good reason except i like Wales and spent most of my time at Liverpool Uni skiving in snowdonia. I tried to learn the language but it's a bit hard- where do the runes fit in by the way ? I sympathise with howling sighthounds- Ped is also keener on that than running. p.s my 3rd dog not called Tri but Browndog (cos she's brown). I'd like her to be the first lurcher to do the BG, as long as i don't have to take her round. any offers?

    apologies to anyone reading this thinking it's a thread about the Cardington Cracker, i must have thought i was on the lurcherlink forums.

    Question Re: Cardington Cracker

    I think Xrunner is referring to the 4 at the end of the runes, pedwar meaning 4 in Welsh, I think.
