Nice One XR... (not seen the website before - excellent)..
Had a crack at a rapid RR walk round a few years ago.. (anti-clock)
But, really awful weather put paid to it.. before half time...
This might just get me up there again!
Miss Muddy Paws Dad....
Not clever & often stupid..
I am reminded of a wonderful book entitled 'No Tigers in the Hindu Kush' written by Philip Tranter's father after Philip died driving back from the Hindu Kush in 1966. I always thought it was one of the two most moving mountaineering books I had read, the other being 'The Last Blue Mountain'.
Just heard from Shane Ohly that he got round the Ramsey. He was unsupported and solo. I presume it is classed as a winter round given it's Scotland. He did it in a shade under 30 hrs. According to Gary Thompsett, who has the winter round record, he has broken the record.
Shane was heard to say: " I never want to run again".

There is an attempt this week end by Nicky Spinks to collect the third of the Grand Tours.
I've never seen her so fit and focused so good luck Nicky.
