    Re: The Ramsay Round

    Just got home.

When Nicky ran the final bit up the road she was a bit leg weary but still running with a smile on her face like she did nearly the whole way round. A fantastic effort.

I didn't feel like I was supporting more like racing her as she didn't stop once(apart from Picking Ian up).

Conditions for the most part were ideal with a cool clear day on the Sat there was a bit of rain during the night but that cleared to leave a stunning morning.

She got a big cheer as she crossed the line from all the supportes. This is one special lady, focused and very strong.

She now has all three BG,PB and the RR only the 2nd woman to do this we believe.

Not bad for some one who only took up running 6-7 years ago!

Rob Woodall came in about 10-15 minutes later after supporting Leg one he decided to continue to the end. Another excellent effort.

I hope you are feeling better Ian, Let me know how you are when you've got a minute.

I'm sure Plumbum and Running man will be along later to add there comments.

    Well Done Nicky

What an awesome lady, very proud to have been part of it.
Genuinely thought, quite a few times, I wouldn't be able to keep up with her.
Well done IanDP for the minute by minute commentary, Nicky wore us out and you flattened my mobiles battery.
Got Ian (running man) home OK, he is told that 5 days will see his injury well on the mend.
Not to be recommended, stopping yourself hitting deck with one finger
Thanks to the cottage hospital in Fort Bill, a brilliant job efficiently done well.
