Where the hell does this come from? I heard an old woman talking like this, this morning and I remember when I used to know this lad from Wigan who would always say "It's couwd out there today". There's no need for it.
Can I also add those people that pronounce the words Cook, Look and Book.... Cuke, Buke and Luke to the list of annoying talkers

I've noticed people around here say buzz instead of bus.
Personally i love accents and think we ought to cherish them. i wish i still had my Lincolnshire accent.
