    Rogaine Wicklow Mountains

Did anybody participate in the 2007 (or earlier) Rogaine in the Irish Wicklow Mountains? I'm planning to participate in the 2008 race. I'm curious te hear your experiences. It's a 24 hour race, however the gear list doesn't mention either tent or sleeping bag. I'm wondering whether you have to keep on going through the night (highly unlikely) or just crash in a bivy bag, which is on the gear list.

Never done it but would like to give it a go. The theory is that you just keep going none stop. 24 hours is not too bad I have done it doing multi sport stuff.

All right, that explains the 'no tent required'. Great, just a bivy then. That saves about 2 kilo's in weight. I guess the OMM Running Light was a good choice after all..

Oh, cool! I just realized I can use my Hilleberg Bivanorak for the first time! I did test it by taking a nap in my Bivanorak in the snow on a cold Sunday afternoon, but I never actually used it.
