    Default Kendal Winter League 2008

Has anbody(Harry H) got any news on the full fixtures for KWL 2008? Looking forward to some great races in testing weather. I know Scout Scar is the 1st.

There have been a couple of last minute alterations but there will be something on the Helm Hill website this week.

Are these xc, off road, multi - terrain, fell races or a mix?
Also, how long are the races typically? Sounds pretty fantastic

The series is a mixed bag really, the first 2 races are very fast (more xc than fell) but then barbondale and fairmile are some of the steepest short races around. Really good races, good warm up for the season, i think senior races are usually won in 30 mins ish ?might be wrong though.

Scout Scar race tomorrow, !st in the series its quite fast being runnable for all the route. Good race for blowing the cobwebs away!!
Kids races start at 12.00, seniors follow after.
Brilliant series with some very testing races similar to BOFRA.

Beware the race tomorrow... the Westmorland Gazette said something about a different course with more challenging climbs
