If someone thinks the fellrunner mag has too many long distance/BG articles in it then they should start a separate thread and not hijack one in a part of the forum they are not interested in

If someone really wants to change the balance of the magazine, the best way is surely to submit an article themselves. I suspect the editor recieves more articles on long distance rounds than on other aspects of the sport.

That must be true. I suspect that a lot of people write about their experiences on long distance challenges but few do so about their experiences in races, or training runs, yet these would probably be a lot more interesting than just trawling through pages of results (though the results section is an essential part of the mag).

I could probably fill the mag with what I've already written in email reports on the Bowland Bat Runs alone this winter.

(don't worry, I'm not proposing to ACTUALLY do that!!)
