    Bizarrely enough, I've just switched to a pair of Mizuno Harriers after 3 years of Inov8s.

    Had a few pairs of 290s and one pair of 330s too. Never had any problems with the original pair of Mudclaws (holes and all!) but subsequent pairs of the same shoe have given me blisters after about 1 hour of running.

    Tried my Mizuno Harriers at the weekend and they felt ace - much softer and more comfy than any other shoe I've had.

    And as for the grip, I agree - not that great, but OK.

    Still, I don't think there's owt that can adhere 100% to wet rock.
