Wait until you go round to a mate's house, to give him a lift to an event, and he comes out of the door with all his kit in a 'Miss Marple' whicker shopping basket !!

Yes! All us ballbags must stick together. But let's be careful - the last time we went down this avenue, someone thought that we were hi-jacking their thread. Mind you, as it's your thread....

A word of caution, though:- Don't keep all your ballbags in one basket!!

Well I of course carry my running kit in two carrier bags (Booth's for choice).....apart that is from the kit that lives in the footwell in the back of my car - currently a nearly empty tub of vaseline, a tube of deep heat, a half drunk bottle of lucozade and a towel that seems to have been there for 6 weeks or so

Manbags today will lead to 'other things', mark my words. Whats that line from Airplane? "Joey, do you like movies about Gladiators?"

    What's next? A 'Today's Sewing thread'?

Merrylegs, does your other half possess a pattern for knitting manbags? Mine really enjoys knitting and it's her birthday in a couple of months. If I could treat her to a pattern, it would be a 'win - win situation' ( as our management like to term it ) for both her and me!!
