    Arant Haw 30th March

    U12, U14 & U17 races too.

This is a cracking race, won in fine style by Joe Symonds and Jackie Lee last year. It's the final race and the presentation do for the Kendal Winter League so there's loads of food going too.

Time to kick this thread back up the list

Donations of cake and sandwiches will be gratefully appreciated.

Harry H Howgill tells me that he is prepared to enter into a financial deal with anyone willing to go into commercial production.

I think this race would make a good AS English championship course. Any thoughts?

It's absolutely perfect for a novice. The route is flagged all the way so there is no chance of getting lost. There will be a great range of abilities taking part so there will be some good competition for you wherever in the field you may be. It's also a cracking route that gets you right into the wilds of the Howgills.

Plus I've just bought all the stuff for making the sandwiches. I'm doing cheese and pickle, ham and chese, and egg. If you have any preferences for something different then let me know.

    Hope to see you there

    cheers

    HHH

Thumbs up Re: Arant Haw 30th March

Forecast looks good for a great day of classic Howgills racing, followed by a good tea (cakes, cakes and more cakes mmmmmmmmm!
Weather also promises to be kind if you believe Metcheck http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/...p?zipcode=LA10

Never done this race? - Give it a go.

Don't forget to change your clocks too, otherwise you might turn up late and there'll be nothing left, oh, and you'll miss the race.
