    I was winning for all of 400m then I decided that I should let someone else have some glory whilst I sank into the 20's somewhere. Carrying half a stone extra in weight and just off the back of a chest infection I think I did ok.

    Nice set - good one of Mr Lurker in the mass.

    Had a good run myself - was dreading the uphill finish (first timer) - but it wasn't too bad in the end, and must have been good for me

    I went to the race just to take some photos. The event looked hard work and well done to everybody who competed.

    really enjoyed this race, great muddy fun, will be on my list for the future and makes me look forward to the Parbold hill race.

    Felt ok today and I can only pretend I left something in the bag for helsby half tomorrow.

    Great photos too Pinno and white flyer, is always appreciated, especially knowing how cold it can get when not running!

    great organisation and really fast edition of the results too.

    exellent well organised race,worth the travelling from barnsley really enjoyed it,thanks to pinno and whiteflyer for some exellent piccies.

    First fell run, really enjoyed it.Found it hard work but good fun. looking forward to the Parbold race. Thanks to Whiteflyer and Pinno for some great pictures
