I like that map - is it on a software package? If so I could do with getting hold of it. What is it FITCC?

It's a good map, but that can't be the route that's marked on it. It goes out beyond Sharphaw and doesn't visit Rough Haw

I'm reccying next Friday (the 8th) at 2:00pm (daylight recce!!!) Anyone welcome - especially anyone with insider knowledge...

It's the route of Brett's Stirton race on the Keighley & Craven site.

Ive been looking at the route and all things considered (including back markers with no route knowledge) i think it will be best to make it an out and back route therefore returning via Sharphaw trig.
The bit that could need a look at is the turn point on top of Roughaw (pile of stones) as you cant see it until you are virtually at it.
The start is going to be on the road section (you run up this road on the Bretts Stirton race) but finishing at the hotel. This is to avoid problems at the early style.
