    Walsh Elite

I've been out and done my first proper run in these this morning and they have casued me all sorts of problems, my ankles are killing me after running in them, they feel more supportive than the PBs which I think is the problem.

Have these taken over from the PBs does anyone know, as I have a feeling they have?

    God I hope not.

Anyone else had any problems with them?

Ones from the factory shop I got told they have taken over from the PB trainer?

They're not the wide fitting ones or anything, but they weren't nice to run in and I'm in agony now.

There are three different models - Elite Xtreme, Elite Trainer and Elite Racer.

Sorry Elite trainer, they feel like I'm running in the PB extremes far too much support.

That doesn't sound good. I was about to buy some new PB Racers and hadn't realised they had changed. I usually just order online from Pete Bland but it sounds like I'd better go and try the new ones on first .

I was told they are built on the same last, but they feel a different shoe, totally different. I'm going to speak to Walsh tomorrow and find out if I can still get the old PB trainer

I've had a pair for a while and they don't seem anywhere near as good as the old PB's. I thought it was just me, but I think the design has changed especially around the heel. I've changed over to inov8's since getting them.

Check them out against the real specs. Some of the factory shop shoes seem to use up surplus materials, hence the discounted prices.
It could be that they are not the "retail spec" for want of a better expression.

No theses are the real things they've not started making the factory seconds etc in these Elites.

Ran in the cheap PB trainer and had no problems, going to see if I can get a pair tomorrow.
