    Walsh Elite

I've been out and done my first proper run in these this morning and they have casued me all sorts of problems, my ankles are killing me after running in them, they feel more supportive than the PBs which I think is the problem.

Have these taken over from the PBs does anyone know, as I have a feeling they have?

    God I hope not.

Anyone else had any problems with them?

Ones from the factory shop I got told they have taken over from the PB trainer?

They're not the wide fitting ones or anything, but they weren't nice to run in and I'm in agony now.

There are three different models - Elite Xtreme, Elite Trainer and Elite Racer.

Sorry Elite trainer, they feel like I'm running in the PB extremes far too much support.

That doesn't sound good. I was about to buy some new PB Racers and hadn't realised they had changed. I usually just order online from Pete Bland but it sounds like I'd better go and try the new ones on first .

Just a thought Hopey - I never use the top lace holes on my PBs as I find it restricts ankle movement. Might it be worth trying them not laced right up to the top?

The shoes would fall off as they have a different lacing system.

Just spoke to Walsh and managed to get the last size 10 of the old PB trainer!
They aren't making the old shoes any more and I am the only person to have said they don't like the new ones, so if you don't like the news ones then let them know and they might make a small amount of the old ones!
