The newest and tenth title in the Race Map Series - BLACK COMBE - is now out and on sale only at Lakes Runner. The usual clear colour map with optimum route marked, plus a few secret local-knowledge short-cuts.
OK - this is a blatant plug - but spare a thought for the poor sod who scrapes a living running round on the fells drawing maps!
(In future, all Race Maps will only be available from Lakes Runner).
The hints are usually very good indeed, but to be honest I have found the details on the maps to be somewhat lacking on occasions.
EDIT: I should add, however, that my comments are not to decry the service which you are providing. Its very much appreciated in most quarters.
