Take your wellies or water skis. It was bad enough last week.
I hate to think what it's like after all the rain we've had since!
And by the way, Tony tells me it's back to the old route so no need to do that extra climb at the end.

Thank God for that! I've tried that numerous times and never been able to run up it!

I'd like to go round it before the race, if only to find the right line from checkpoint 1-2. Oh and that bit from noon hill to the stream junction. Rest of it I'm quite happy with.

i may be going for a run round at some point when I've finally shifted my chest infection. Is there any point in time that may suit if I were able to come across.

Forgot to add I've already run a bit of it so any advice on route choice on a recce would be appreciated particularly over the back side of Winter hill.

I'd be ok to run part of it, in a couple of weeks, but I'm going to give away any short cuts

    1-2 follow the crowd!
The other bit: Over the stile fom the lane. Fork right just before Noon Hill and count to 100.
Turn right and follow the boggy path all the way to CP8.
