    Walsh wide or MB Clingon

I have a wide foot and the standard walsh or Mouintain Bear are to narrow so i end up buying a bigger size to accomadate the width.
i look and feel like "Flipper " .
Has anyone tried the widder walsh or mb clingon and if so are they any good ?
    PS
Other than the narrow fit the MB gladiators are a good shoe.

The Clingons look remarkably like the old Felldancers, which were always my shoe of choice until they stopped doing the ones with the rand.

I have no idea how they compare for width with other shoes, I don't recall noticing that they were particularly wide, but they were a good shoe, with a good grippy sole, though probably not as good as mudrocs on steep grass, but just as good as Walshes I always thought. Also, they didn't fall apart and can be resoled.

I've had a few runs in the Walsh PB Ultra and they are pretty wide. I like em. I almost thought they were too wide at one point. And that *never* happens. I couldn't get the Mountain Bears on!

Yep, 8s, like I say quite generous. Always take an 8 in ASICS road and trail shoes. Size 8 Swoops are a bit tight. Hope that helps.

sounds like the new ultra's will be good for you as there as wide as a bloody bullfrog or maybe feel like it..................I'm 9.5 in Saucony road shoes and was 10 in Walsh extreme, I went for size 9 in extreme ultra - but there a massive shoe, totally do not feel happy in descending in them, also insole was too big for the shoe so kept slipping back and forth in the shoe....what a horrible experience........................................ ......................anyway if you do have particularly wide feet they may just be okay for you........

on the advice of Pete Blands staff over the phone (we have no local stockists) I went for a 10.5, usually 10, as they said Walsh's tend to be small, and I just got away with them, I'm going to try the 10's next, but I'm not sure. They were fineish, I just felt there was maybe a smidgeon too much movement, but I never suffered a blister in them, even during my Paddy Buckley.

    I take a 9 1/2 in sauconys ,i find these have a good wide forefoot .
Seems as though the 10 would be the size to get.
thanks for the replies ,i appreciate it .
