Don't know about nicking it - I suspect we'll be happy if we manage to find it Grifter; especially if Brett brings along one of his infamous maps!

Recce completed earlier this evening. A cracking route, which will make a good finale to a lovely series of events. Cross still there when we left!

Hmmm, tempting. I don't want to rely on my (unreliable) sprint finish after following Stick all the way round (kind though the offer is Stick...)

The route is from the car park up to Rylestone cross GR SD983576 via Crook Rise and then return back to the car park Approx 5.5ml

Hmm, looks interesting. So, it's up to the 415m trig on Crag Top (Crookrise), continuing to the cross on Rylstone Fell, then back over Crookrise (or not?).

There seems to be an interesting route choice for the crossing of the upper valley of Eller Beck(?) - direct north or curve out some distance to the east...?

Must try to squeeze a recce in somehow

Trundler I wouldn't mind having a trot round, not sure that I fancy doing the race without having some idea where I'm running.
