    Alpkit

I have just bought an Alpkit headtorch after reading some of the reviews on the 'Headtorch' thread.
What an excellent piece of kit - I am highly impressed.
Has anyone out there any experience of their other products?

My mates are getting bored of me telling them how good Alpkit is. The products are fab the prices are ace and the service is second to none.

I've got their torch, a bivvy bag, a Gourdon and I've just bought a Tifoon.

I have got a sleeping bag, the 600 down one, can't remember its name but camped last weekend in brecon beacons, it was snowing and I was warm as toast!

Also got the lightweight sleeping mat and waterproof rucksack all good stuff.

    Agree, price and service great

    a Gourdon????
    a Tifoon????

They both sound delightful especially the Tifoon but what the heck...

GD - The Tifoon is especially delightful!!

It's a Titanium (Ti) Fork (F) Spoon (oon) - you've got to buy one just to credit the person who came up with the name.

It's a totally unnecessary piece of OMM equipment but at 6.50 it's cheap enough for a laugh.

Oh I forgot I have a titanium mug!

I think one of there sleeping bags was tested in trail magazine recently and came out top?

I think it was the pipedream 600 they tested.

    Thanks for all the feedback.
The general consensus looks to be a resounding thumbs up!
