Wow! I used to love Supertramp and for a long time when finishing work early on a Friday I really did Take The Long Way Home. Whether it was running, walking or cycling I used to used to take a big detour home. Thanks for that.

Try Anthony Joseph - Carribean roots, the new Gil Scott Heron - remember 'The Revolution will not be televised'

And dance like you've never danced before

I'm ashamed to say I'd never heard this song before tonights drama Come Home with Christopher Eccleston.

This guy is brilliant. A cross between Roy Orbison & Richard Hawley:

Same for me and I like it although Mrs DTR thinks it is in her words ‘a bit maudlin’

Jez I enjoyed that. Could you or anybody else recommend a Richard Hawley album? He seems to be held in high regard by other muscians and I've not had chance to listen to him.

Daletown Runner, for some inexplicable reason I've always disliked Lou Reed's Walk On The Wild Side so have given him a wide berth. Perhaps it's time to get down to the local record shop.

Coles Corner and Ladies Bridge, both classic Hawley, Standing at the Sky's Edge is more electronic, Hollow Meadows back to a more laid back sound. Give him a listen.
