    fitted kitchen advice

please can someone tell mew where the best place is to get a fitted kitchen from
AJ has been nagging me since xmas to get it sorted and theres no way im fitting it myself
them days are gone for good
just was wonderin if anyone has had dealings with a reputable decent company

i will have to get it sor=ted or she will have me trapesing around f.,.,..n IKEA or Band Q

also why is it that once you have sorted one job a womans brain immediatley thinks i know i will find something else to give him to do, and it always costs big money.

You'll still end up doing the 'store tour'. The ladies will tell us that we have to be there to be part of such an important decision, then they will ignore our opinions and get what they wanted anyway, but they still just have to drag us round the stores.

If you go to the Moben's etc you are likely to get ripped off, first job is to find a kitchen she likes, get a plan/design done (which is usually free) and then start getting some quotes for fitting. If it's in the Keighley/Skipton area I know a top class fitter.

You don't just get dragged round the kitchen companies, there are tiles, flooring, blinds/curtains, decor....

You've got some real joy to look forward to.

what kills me is that our kitchen is not to bad cos the house is only about 7 years old but hey we have to get a new kitchen.

i mean all i need in a kitchen is a hob, a saucepan and a wok just to boil up my pasta dishes etc
but nowadays you need in built scales, microwave, spiceracks, and all that shit.
ive told her , the day i hit IKEA on a sunday morning is the day they take me away.
i just dont get all that sunday morning shops malarky

but your correct its a woman thing.

i got a nice handy man to come and fit mine (which i bought from ikea - well cheap in there, which may be a reflection of quality, but when you're on my kind of budget you can't be too fussy!)
I'd agree with Hamertime, get quotes for the fitting of it seperately and places like moben charge the earth for some reason.
A bloke I work with is just getting a new kitchen fitted in a week or two and he is not that far from you daz, so if they do a good job for him I could get the details for you?

Ikea are open until 10pm weekdays and it's still busy when I go there after 9pm!

It's probably easier to move house daz....

Or sell the house and buy a new bike instead?
